October 8 - 14, 2018

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for taking the time to come to your SEP visit, it was so good to see you all!  You have pretty amazing scholars.

This week will be a little different, I will be at a conference Monday through Wednesday.  The class will be in the capable hands of Mrs. Illian.

Curriculum News:
  • Literacy - Starting Unit 2 of CKLA, the Middle Ages.  Scholars will be reading about the middle ages.  We have started typing, I will try to have scholars work on typing at least 10 minutes, 4 days a week.  Word Work will start the week of October 15.
  • Math - Monday's lesson 3.4, multiplying using partial products.  Tuesday's lesson 3.5, multiplying with regrouping. Wednesday's lesson 3.5, practicing multiplying 2 digit by 2 digit using the method that works for each individual scholar. Thursday's lesson 3.6, practice and reviewing. Friday depending on how the scholars are doing we will continue to practice or test.  Please keep working on times table fluency at home.
