Dear Parents,

 I hope you all had a good weekend.  :)

 On Thursday I sent home SEP appointments, thank you to those of you that have already returned them.  Please check the time and date, return to let me know that the appointed time works for you.

 Our first book report will be coming home this week, the book needs to be a mystery book.  We will go over all the expectations in class and the information sheet will follow.

 Curriculum News:
  • Literacy - We are still reading personal narratives, writing literary device examples, and writing our own personal narratives.
  • Math - Monday's lesson 2.10, multiply 2-digit numbers with regrouping. Tuesday's lesson 2.11, multiply 3-digit and 4-digit numbers with regrouping.  Wednesday's lesson 2.12solving multi-step problems using equations.  Thursday will be a review for Chapter 2.  Friday will be Chapter 2.  Please continue to work on times tables at home.
  • Science - We've had a great time learning about wetlands and deserts, forests are next.   We will be classifying plants and animals after our discussions on forests.

  • October 1-5, SEP Week.  School will be out each dat at 2:30.
  • October 8-10, I will be out of town for a conference.
